We are so excited for the 2026–2027 school year to begin! To make your back-to-school prep as smooth as possible, most tasks can be completed conveniently online. You'll find everything you need right here on this page.

A Student Profile will be mailed to each student’s primary address. Parents, please thoroughly review this profile information and follow the instructions in the mailing to submit any corrections.
💻 Student Computer Distribution (9th Graders & New Students)
You can pick up your school laptop at either of the following times:
- Option 1: At our Back-to-School Kickoff event on Thursday, August 27 (4:00 – 6:00 pm).
- Option 2: On a drop-in basis at the front office from Tuesday, September 1 – Friday, September 4 (Note: Office opens at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Sept 3).

C-Hill Back-to-School Kickoff 🍭🍿
When: Thursday, August 27 | 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
What: Reconnect with friends, grab some treats, and play games! Staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you complete any lingering back-to-school tasks. 9th graders and new students can also pick up their school computers here!
Back-to-School Drop-In Hours 🏢
When: Tuesday, September 1 – Friday, September 4
- Tuesday, 9/1 – Wednesday, 9/2: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

How to Submit Corrections
Make any corrections directly on the document using red ink, and return it to the front office.
- In person: Drop off the corrected form during our Back-to-School Kickoff on August 27 or during front office drop-in hours September 1–September 4!
- Email: Scan the corrected profile and email it as a PDF attachment to the registrar.
We cannot accept corrections written in the body of an email or communicated over the phone.
Student profiles include:
- Student information: name, date of birth, etc.
- Parent/guardian names and contact information
- Emergency contact names and contact information
- Student medical history
Note: Parents with educational rights may request a printed copy of their child’s profile at the front office at any time.

Annual permissions and opt-out forms for the upcoming/current school year will be posted on the 4J Annual Notices page when they become available.
Forms labeled for previous school years will not be accepted.
2026–27 4J Annual Permissions and Opt-Out Forms (all students)
Parents/guardians must complete these forms each school year to renew permissions or opt-outs. You can download the forms from the 4J website at the links below, or come to the Churchill Front Office for a paper copy.

Laptop Pickup Options
New students and 9th graders can pick up their school-issued laptop at either of the following times:- Option 1: At the Back-to-School Kickoff on Thursday, August 27, from 4:00–6:00 PM.
- Option 2: At the Front Office during drop-in hours, Tuesday, September 1–Friday, September 4 (Note: Office closed Thursday morning, Sept 3; opens at 1:00 PM).
Note: Students are responsible for taking care of their school-issued technology. Please review our Technology Appropriate Use Guidelines.
Prepare Your Computer Before Day 1
Once you get your laptop home, please complete these setup steps before the first day of school to ensure you are ready to go:- Charge and Power On: Plug in the laptop’s power adapter. Let it charge for at least 15 minutes, then power it on.
- Log In: Log in to the 4J Student user account. Password: student
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Connect the laptop to your home internet/wi-fi network.
- Run Updates: Leave the laptop plugged in to charge in a safe place where it won't be disturbed, checking on it occasionally. The laptop will automatically configure itself and download the apps you need for school. This background setup may take several hours.
- Sync the Clock if Prompted: Some students may see an error message saying the clock needs to be set. Keep the laptop on the charger for at least 2 hours, then restart it. You may need to continue charging and restarting the device a few times for the clock to fully sync.
- Check Your Accounts: Log in to your student email and make sure your 4J accounts are working properly.

LTD Transit Pass
Students can get a free LTD student transit pass from the front office at any time. Or at the Back-to-School Kickoff on Thursday, August 27, from 4:00–6:00 PM.
Passes are valid from September 1 of the current school year to September 30 of the following year and can be renewed by the school each year for ongoing free service.

Parking on the Churchill campus is by permit only during regular school hours, except for short-term parking in designated visitor spaces. Pick up your parking permit at the front office after completing steps 1 and 2 below.
Step 1: Complete a Parking Contract
2026–2027 Churchill Parking Contract
The student must be signed in to 4J Google to access this form. A parent’s digital signature is required for students under 18. One parking permit per vehicle.

Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Students
All Churchill High School students are eligible to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. No meal application is required.Additional Items: Students who choose to purchase additional meals, second entrees, or à la carte items will be charged according to the current Nutrition Services price list. Charges are applied directly to the student's meal account.

Income-Based Eligibility & Student Fee Reductions
Families seeking reduced school fees, scholarships, or eligibility for certain community programs (such as discounted internet or driver education) must complete the annual form to receive an Eligibility Certification:

Optional student accident and injury insurance is available for families seeking additional coverage for school-time or 24-hour activities.

Lockers belong to the school district and are assigned for the convenience of students. At Churchill, lockers are only assigned to students who request them.

Find and return your overdue library books.
Overdue library books can be returned to the front office anytime during business hours. Overdue charges will be waived for any books returned before the first day of classes.

Student class schedules will be ready to view in Student/ParentVUE no earlier than Friday, August 28, at 4:00 PM.
How to Request a Correction: Use the online Schedule Correction Request Form on the Scheduling Page. This form will be posted after student schedules are published.
Important Note: DO NOT EMAIL YOUR COUNSELOR FOR A SCHEDULE CORRECTION. All requests must go through the online form.

Getting ready for high school is an exciting step! To help you start the school year right, we've put together a suggested supply list created with input from Churchill High School teachers and experienced students.
As a 9th grader, you'll be taking a variety of courses, and some may require specific materials. This list is a general guide, so feel free to personalize it based on your needs and preferences. You'll get more details about any required course-specific items on your teachers' syllabi during the first week of school.
